Pastor Michael Olaye
Pastor Michael Olaye is the older child of Emmanuel and Ruby Olaye. He is of Nigerian and Jamaican descent. He was raised in Houston, TX and is a product of Christian education. His mother moved to Atlanta, GA so that he and his younger brother, Toyin Olaye, can attend Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy.
After graduating from GAAA, Pastor Olaye attended Oakwood University and Andrews University where he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Ministerial Theology and Master of Divinity respectively. He also served as a Bible Worker, Associate Evangelist and an Evangelist under the tutelage of the late Randolph P. Stafford leading over 1,000 souls to Christ throughout the United States and Jamaica.
Pastor Olaye received a call from the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventist where he pastored Alpha International Seventh-day Adventist Church (Arlington, TX) and assisted many other churches in evangelism. He also served as a volunteer chaplain for the Arlington (TX) Police Department.
After serving as a pastor, his love for hope and healing in ministry led him to serve as a healthcare chaplain. After completing a residency in Clinical Pastoral Education within the Adventist Health System, he served as the Senior Staff Chaplain for Metroplex Adventist Hospital in Killeen, TX.
Pastor Olaye accepted a call to return to parish ministry under the leadership of Elder William Winston. He currently serves as the pastor of Baldwin’s Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church in High Point, NC and New Life Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lexington, NC.
Pastor Olaye is the proud father of Mycca and Myles. His hobbies include watching NBA TV, reading, and eating good food. His favorite passage of Scripture is Hebrews 10:14, “For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”
